  • It has 97% UVA and 3% UVB to mimics sunlight and to help increase natural behaviors.
  • UVA radiation comes from light and can be provided by a good basking bulb. This type of light is essential for a reptile’s vision.
  • UVB comes from light like UVA, and it allows vitamin D to be produced in humans and animals. Most species of reptiles are unable to use dietary vitamin D, so they must get it from exposure to UVB.
