How do you take your lovely pet's blood pressure?
1. The cuff should be placed at the same horizontal position as the animal's heart.
2.The left limb, and the right limb can be measured.
3.Use an appropriately sized cuff for the animal to ensure that the markings are properly located above the appropriate artery. Be sure that the cuff is not wrapped around the limb too tightly, otherwise it may cause discoloration or even ischemia of the distal limb.
4. The cuff must be completely wrapped around the limb, otherwise choose the appropriate size cuff.
5. When the animal is a small animal, select the small cuff mode.
If the blood pressure monitor does not sit flush with your pet's heart, try the following correction.
1.If the cuff is above the horizontal position of the heart, each centimeter of difference should be Add 0.75 MMHG (0.10 KPA) to the displayed value.
2.If the cuff is is lower than the heart level, each centimeter of difference should be added to the displayed value minus 0.75 MMHG (0.10 KPA) per centimeter of difference.
You can freely match 3 types of cuffs.
